Buttonholes are mass-produced by an industrial machine orchestrating
a trance sequence of metallic pneumatic sounds created in the making of
one buttonhole on repeat.
As the foot presses a pedal, air is released, creating a condensed,
rapid zig-zagging seam in a rectangular shape.
A swift drop of the knife, precisely in the center of the stitches
makes the buttonhole appear on the surface.
This is the last operation before the item is completed, it is a point of no return.
